 Description.
At the water crossing on Sloade Lane, turn left (South) onto the concrete farm road, walking uphill through the yard of Litfield Farm. This part of the path is moderately steep, but takes only a few minutes.

Just above the farm, the path changes to ordinary earth, and immediately crosses footpath 33, marked with small finger posts to left and right.

Continue straight ahead and the farm track eventually gets narrower as it gets to the crest of the hill. This part of the path can get muddy in winter and after rain. This can be made worse if horse traffic has been heavy.

The path descends gently towards the South-Eastern corner of Ryall's wood, and good views can be seen towards Eckington, Marsh Lane, Troway and Coal Aston.

The path ends at the junction with Path 19, although Path 17 is only 20 metres away.
