We are a successful club with a strong following. Juniors and Veterans are both well catered for. The bowling green is situated opposite the Ridgeway Sports and Social Club. Although currently closed for the winter period, we will reopen at the end of March 06.
Our bowling club had a successful season in 2005. We won two of the leagues that we are involved in and were runners up in two others. One of our talented juniors was also spotted by Derbyshire Junior County team and played for them on a number of occasions last year.
Don’t let this success put you off! We welcome new male and female members of all ages and abilities. If you are a beginner, we can explain the rules and teach you how to play. And it’s not all competitive – we value our social bowling just as much as competitive bowling.
